The replacement for LimeWire.
The FrostWire Team, all of whom are still members of the LimeWire open-source community, strongly disagrees with LimeWire's decision that could possibly filter content on the Gnutella network (LimeWire has not implemented this type of DRM technology into their client as of yet). However, we will continue supporting the LimeWire client development and do not wish to make fundamental or drastic changes to the LimeWire core itself. FrostWire will not break with LimeWire's design philosophy.
FrostWire, unlike LimeWire, will never offer a PRO version. The FrostWire project will always remain strictly non-profit without any bundled software, including advertisements, spyware, malware or any code outside the scope of the general network that can transmit private information. FrostWire will always remain Free as in both price and freedom.
